I don't care for Pink Floyd's more popular works, but I can imagine that what SOS do would be good.

Maude
An evening with Peter Hook and The Light in April. They're doing their own support by playing a set of New Order tracks, then playing Unknown Pleasures and Closer in full along with other Joy Division favourites. First gig for a few years and I'm really looking forward to it.

And we're BBPH brothers now I see. 🙂👍 Edit: That was meant to be more jokey, less creepy sounding than it does when read back. 😁 Edited March 12, 2022 by Maude Confirming I haven't stood outside your house and watched you bring new basses in.

Had to drive 240 miles to see the gig, mind... And the bass player was very good...
Nail Soup
The Woodentops tonight in St Albans. At least it was supposed to be..... cancelled at the last minute due to a power cut. Got parked at about 8.20... I already had a bad feeling as traffic lights and street lights were out in the area, and not much light coming from the houses. Walked up tothe venue anyway. they said I think the power cut started at about 7.30.... the band were packing up their gear. This would have been my last gig from the covid postponements . Ah well! gjones
Mama's gun in June. I travelled 400 miles from Edinburgh to London to see them in January. Astounding musicianship - tight as a ducks wotsit. This time they're playing Glasgow, so only 45 miles. I'm a big fan.
Andermtc
Barenaked Ladies at the RAH on Monday night, hopefully. The 4 piece is down to 2 at the moment as they continue the tour, hopefully they will be back up to 4 by Monday. KT Tunstall is one of the support acts and is one of the reasons for going to this particular gig.
