Mickeyboro Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Paul McCartney - in Portland, second gig of the world tour. Did I ever tell you I saw the Beatles? Attending the Cream reunion 11 years ago, I was assaulted by a bunch of people taking 'my' picture on smartphones. I turned round to see, in a box behind me, fellow audience members Macca, Heather Mills, Ringo, Barbara Bach and Tom Hanks. By the encore they'd long since disappeared into the night...but I saw the Beatles, all right?! 😆 Quote
vbance Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Father John Misty in May, The Hot Sardines in June. Quote
ubit Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 We are going to see Father John Misty on Thursday night in Glasgow. Can't wait! Quote
Sammers Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 Next gig for me is Iggy Pop at the RAH, but our digs have fell through so may have to pull an all nighter in London and get the first train home! Quote
KevB Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Next for me should be Magenta at the Citadel in St Helens on Sat all being well. Never been there before and not seen the band before either. Quote
Kirky Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Eagulls this Friday night at the Brudenell. Tough call, because The Fall are playing in Leeds on the same night, exactly 29 years to the day since I first saw them...but I'm taking my son to Eagulls, and they've been excellent the 2 times I've seen them. Cato Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 (edited) Just got myself tickets for Kamasi Washington at the Birmingham Institute on 29th June. I've been to a few jazz clubs over the years but this will be my first 'big name' jazz gig. Really quite excited. No details on the band yet but if he brings Thundercat & Patrice Quinn that'll be a massive bonus, if not then it's still all good. Edited May 21, 2016 by Cato Quote
Clarebear68 Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 (edited) I managed to get tickets to see Beck in Manchester in June. I've never seen him live before, so I'm really looking forward to it. 😀 Edited May 21, 2016 by Clarebear68 Quote
Graham Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Juat found out Witchsorrow are playing tonight in Aldershot, so booked a ticket for that. Haven't been to a gig where I'm not playing in ages, really looking forward to it. Quote
Dandelion Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 The Mission. Nottingham Rock city. Shame about the 10:00 curfew at the venue during the week. Quote
