Just bagged tix for Therapy? later in the year and have seen Pissed Jeans and Chat Pile are also touring. Happy days! 1 Quote

The current set prominently features a favourite from Third (despite of course no one in the current line-up being in the Third line-up!) I saw them at New Cross Inn a couple of weeks ago, excellent. 1 Quote

Regarding that middle bit - start with Bundles and Floating World Live and you'll be very well placed. 1 Quote
Cliff Edge Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 Jeff Wayne’s War of The Worlds. Just bought tickets for this at Brighton on 12 April next year. As long as we’re still around by then. 3 Quote
vbance Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 The Hives in London, a band I've always wanted to see live but somehow not managed so far.....not the best seats but judging by some YT vids of this tour it should be an electric atmosphere. Quote
Richard R Posted March 14, 2024 Posted March 14, 2024 It was supposed to be The Grateful Dudes in Kings Heath tomorrow, but instead I will have to mend the dishwasher 🥲 So it's just Eric Clapton, Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets, Half Man Half Biscuit and the Dudes (again) to look forward to over the next few months. Mustn't grumble! Quote
woodyratm Posted March 14, 2024 Posted March 14, 2024 I’m heading to Glasgow at the weekend to see The Gaslight Anthem. Had an absolutely pish few weeks so looking forward to chilling out. 1 Quote

TrevorR Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 Off to see a performance of Adrian Snell’s rock opera, The Passion, performed with a choir and full orchestra at All Souls Langham Place tomorrow night. One of my fave musos - Dave Bainbridge (Iona, Lifesigns, Strawbs etc) is in the band. Should be good. And just bought tickets for Trevor Horn’s band at Hampton Pool this summer. Can’t wait!!! Quote

scalpy Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 Next up for me is Snarky Puppy and Gregory Porter at Cheltenham Jazz festival, and I’m very tempted by Tool in Birmingham having discovered them for myself this week, 30 years too late to the party. Quote
