miles'tone
http://carolkaye.com/www/library/sounds/mp3/Changes.mp3 This just popped up on my Facebook feed, Carol recorded this as a demo tune for Musicman to promote the Stingray when it was first launched. Great. I haven't even rubbed the sleep from my eyes and now I've got GAS for a Stingray with flats! Is there no end to this torment?... 😉

Highfox
If Ididn't already have one I'd be joining in with the GAS. I don't use mine that much, but learned after selling one I need a Ray in my life.

I found it hard to be a one bass guy with just a Stingray, so it had to go at the time. Now I'm plotting and planning on getting an Alnico pup'd SR5. Need that funky flavour in my life again! "It will be mine... Oh yes.."😁
White Cloud
Great, classic stingray sound. I love it. I personally always think this sound comes very close to that Wal high end tone.
Cairobill
Yup, the Stingray has it all - thump, presence and heaps of bottom end. esp with dead rounds or flats. Phenomenal basses. Edited November 4, 2015 by Cairobill
drTStingray
Sounds great - apparently she played guitar on it as well. Pinball
Wonderful playing...I already use SR5's with flats. I'm pretty sure that I don't sound that good though

andy67
Just been converted! Spent years resisting a MM even though Cliff Williams is an influence however, recently bought a ray 34 and love it! So much so, I now own an MM stingray 4 too. I cannot describe this in any coherent form but I'm sure, you will all know what I mean when I say it feels like home or the big comfy chair! lol Andy Edited November 11, 2015 by andy67
