howdenspur
Just taken delivery of a Korg Pitchblack which appears to be dead on arrival so will need to go back for a swap. Been using a Tanglewood clip on hittherto.
stevebasshead
Gigging: - Two Zoom B3's and TC Polytune (I only use the Polytune) Android gStrings app Knocking around the house: - Zoom 3000B MultiFX - Boss GT6B - Korg AX5B - Boss tuner (can't remember the model) - Tuner built into Ibanez acoustic bass So 9? Also three others no longer in my possession - Behringer rack tuner, Boss handheld thing that died years ago and a Zoom MultiFX that predated the 3000B so I've owned 12 overall. Gosh. I'd have said 3 or 4 until I sat and thought about it! Edited to add the behringer Edited November 7, 2015 by stevebasshead
Twigman
Two A Boss TU-3 on my pedal board and a manky old Korg plastic tuner which is covered in scuzz...dunno the model number but can't find a pic of one on the interweb...it's from the 80s and has tiny LEDs rather than a needle and is black and angled in the middle like old wooden synths from the 70s were (but way smaller)....it smells funny EDIT: Found it on the interweb...it's a Korg DT-2 - almost as scuzzy as mine Edit: just acquired a TC polytune mini to try to cut down on space used on my board Edited February 16, 2016 by Twigman
Paul S
I use a Mightysound PT-06 on my board, doubles as a mute switch and, with no battery space on board, takes up no room at all. Flagged up on here by Mr Discreet as I recall, and a jolly good bit of kit it is too. I use a multi-efffect Zoom MS-60B but find this tuner much better than that in the zoom. For 2 bands I don't use any effects, so use the Korg Pitchblack PB-01 that the Mightysound replaced. I also carry a small Korg plug-in one and have various Planetwave and Snark clip-ons around where I practice at home.
stuckinthepod
Snark Pedal Tuner - On the pedal board- Great tuner also used for mute switch Snark Clip on for backup Built in Tuner on the BG500- Not accurate enough so not used Quick Tune Tuner I bought when I started playing in 1996- Still works well
Bassmonkey
Two rack tuners, a Stomp one, two Korg plug ins and a Peterson Strobe Clip. Too many!

seashell
Guess I'm the only one that thinks those clip on tuners just look wrong! Tuner built in to my FX board, tuner app on my phone, and same app on my tablet.
No, I agree they look wrong. I always unclipp it before I start playing. Roland Rock
Just one, a polytune mini. I really don't like the look of headstock tuners
clarkpegasus4001
I use a Seiko ST 737 tuner at the sound check which i've had for years. Then I just use my ears on the gig, no pedals etc....The less i have to carry to a gig the better. blue
I use Korg's Pitch Black. I like it, but at sunny outdoor gigs I couldn't read it at all. Blue

Chienmortbb
I only have one in my signal chain at a time but have quite a few around Zoom B3 Zoom G3 Zoom MS-60B Korg AX3000B Korg AX1500G Two or three Tanglewood tuners (I like these but they're obsolete now) Three or four cheapo tuners so I can stick one in every case One clip-on, good for use with the Variax guitar but an epic fail on the headless Sei
Tauzero are we the only AX3000B owners on Basschat? blue
I don't like the clip ons. I'm big into cool vintage bass guitars and their stage presence. The Clip Ons can ruin the integrity of the headstock. Just looks goofy to ne. Blue Edited February 15, 2016 by blue
Bottle
I just have my trusty beat-to-hell-and-back TU-2 on my board, right at the start of the chain (for muting). It's bombproof. That is all Ian

Nicko
I have a TC polytune mounted on my board. And an old Korg GT3 for when I cant be arsed to set the board up at home. When learning new stuff or practicing at home my ears are generally good enough.
cybertect
Off stage: A Korg DT-3 that I've used since the early 90s On stage: Zoom B3 For backup, a few months ago I bought a Polytune Clip to keep in my gig bag as it takes up practically no space. Truckstop
Don't own one at the moment actually! I've lost about 10 in my time, though.
clauster
Korg Pitchblack, Korg Pitchblack Portable, one in my Pod XT and another in my Korg Sound-on-Sound. I think there might be a Quiktune somewhere to or I might have left that with my ex.
sharkboy
I've been through a few, but currently I'm down to two - a Pitchblack Pro in the rack and the built-in one in my TC Blacksmith. I have to say, I love the versatility of the Korg, and it makes for a damn good lightshow into the bargain
colgraff
Yup. Love my Korg, too.
