RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 I go to tune in radio as usual , and 'the bear ', edmontons best rock' has disappeared . I know that I can go direct to their web page and listen there , but tune in is/ was handy for switching to other stations . There are other stations called 'the bear' , on the tune in app , but not that one . Weird . I wonder if it's because tune in have put it in their premium selection . The bear is owned by bell, media , and I've just downloaded the app . Inconvenient . Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted November 6, 2015 Author Posted November 6, 2015 'This station is not available in your country' wtf?!? I've sent email to their webmaster ,wanting to know why not . Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 No interest here. Off topic perhaps ? Quote
Rumple Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I've just tried the app on my phone and it worked fine for me, listened to a US sixties station and UK 80's one. Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 Thanks rumple . The tune in app is fine . The bear one is not , as its not supported in this country . Annoying . Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 On the bear rocks website , nothing there either on their radio player Quote
Rumple Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015
On the bear rocks website , nothing there either on their radio player
Most annoying if it used to work OK. Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted November 8, 2015 Author Posted November 8, 2015 I received a nice reply from one of the female dj's , telling me I should expect a reply on Monday , from one of their web masters. The station is owned by bell media , who own a couple of ' Bears' apparently. Maybe they're cost cutting . I'll have to look for something similar I guess. I will post reply, when I get it. I had a look at the premium version of tune in radio , and what you get for £5.99 a month. I didn't go for the free trial as I think it looks rubbish. Quote
