So many kids were having accidents because it wasn't tight enough that Raleigh made it a welded joint on subsequent models. And I didn't have one either, I had a Molton Minx! Quote
Thunderbird Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 I always wanted one as a kid but never got one Quote
Bassassin Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 The original mk1 deathtraps with the straight seatstays & huge wide bars do sell for some batshit-mental money: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Raleigh-Chopper-Mk1-Orange-/181872777742 Never had one - always though they were bloody ridiculous, even as a kid!
Well looking at those adverts, I rather wish I'd kept my barn. When I think of all the great things I might find stored in there ... It's OK though. I have an uncle who is yet to pop his clogs, so I'm confidently expecting a dozen vintage instruments to come through. Quote
