Only reason for letting this go is my Celinder J type fretless suits my needs better at the moment. This W&T is a fantastic instrument. Resonant, lightweight and sits perfectly in the mix. I would describe the tone as a refined Musicman type of sound. The bass has a lovely fast neck with satin finish. 3pc maple neck with Pau Ferro board and an Alder body. Funky frosted / crackled type of finish. 2-band East preamp and Mama pickup. Sloppy fretless playing at its worst However i believe i put on a bit too much treble on the East preamp on the bass (to my liking) but it pretty much gives you a clear idea of the voice of the instrument.
