alembic1989
I have heard that they sound very good..it it true? Would you recommend them? Thanks Raj
tauzero
Well, it is my fifth... I use another 5-string Tsai as my main gigging bass. I'd describe the sound as transparent - what you get through the amp is the sound of the string, rather than coloration from pickups and electrics. Note that some people have had issues (mostly with the acoustics though) - my 7-string's pickups only actually picked up 6 strings, which was a bit annoying, and I finished up putting a pair of Bart 7-string pickups in. Worth it though. Other than that, I haven't had any issues with them.
phil_the_bassist
They've caught my eye many times, but I haven't had the money to gamble incase they were naff...but I'm glad that they're as good as they look! Mebby the ol' mastercard'll get dusted off and I'll treat myself if I've still got a job at the end of the month!
budget bassist
If it wasn't for that tacky fretboard inlay i'd be rather attracted to that, tidy looking bass there

IMO they only look good on an all black fender with maple neck, black binding on the neck and black blocks. i especially hate pearl blocks on maple fingerboards. its just wrong.
