Jon Thorne
Hi Laurence! Hope all's well with you and your music making. Long time no speak. How old are these strings and I'm curious as to how different they are in feel and weight of sound from the Evah Weich's, which I'm currently on? bassadder
Hi John Great to hear from yes I'm good thanks John They are definitely heavier and have more tension than the Weich's though there isn't much difference in the E, if my bass was 41 1/2 scale instead of 42 1/2 scale they would be fine the tone is a bit fuller but it's hard to say as I like the sound of the Weich's as well. I'm using the Weich's myself. As for age I don't know the E and A where in my gigbag and Martyn Bailey put the D and G after he reset the neck at the beginning of November but as I said I found tension to hard for my little girly hands.
