Wan Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Hi Guys, Does anybody know where I could get an aluminium type of brief case to carry my little mark II in and a few leads etc... Cheers... Quote
gary mac Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Lozz had some sort of case up for sale a few days back. Quote
Ruck Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I was given a couple of "photographer's" hard cases by my dad. One of which has removable foam blocks inside that I can remove to accommodate my Markbass head so it fits nice and snug. They're probably quite old and they're brand-less so I couldn't say where to find them. Possibly something to search for online Quote
Ruck Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Very similar to this: http://www.mystoreonline.com.au/images/case_6536_1.jpg Quote
M@23 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Maplin. One fits my Tonehammer 500 like it was made for it. They're pretty good quality for the price too. Nothing like Peli or proper expensive case, but good enough of you don't plan on dropping it from a height! Quote
RandomBass Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015
Got mine from B&Q
Ditto. Still in use and has some knocks but going strong. Quote
BassBunny Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015
Ditto. Still in use and has some knocks but going strong.
Double Ditto. about £15 and has a moveable divider to seperate the head from cables. Quote
ebenezer Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 I just use a laptop bag for my littlemark 2...fits well. granted, not the ultimate protection, but suits me Quote
Paul S Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 I got one of these 'high impact' cases from Maplin for my TC Electronic head - http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/large-high-impact-case-with-pre-cut-foam-interior-n14gr -I can fit the amp, leads and also the footswitch in it. Not as cheap as some of the ali ones but extremely sturdy indeed - I have actually stood on top of it (I weigh around 100kg). Quote
Matt P Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 I'll just echo what's been suggested before, I've used cases from maplin and b+q for years with no issues, i've also seen similar cases in Clas Ohlson if you have a store near you (they sell peli copies as well which I've been tempted by) http://www.clasohlson.com/uk/Instrument-Case/Pr314142000 I've now got a thon accessory case which holds my amp, my pedalboard and my leads, not the lightest but really tough and cheap!
