Alun Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Well it makes sense up to the end of "AC/DC" What a very very odd listing!!! Quote
Clarky Posted September 10, 2008 Author Posted September 10, 2008 Maybe this is in fact marketing genius? Perhaps I could advertise a kettle on eBay as: JIMI-HENDRIX-METALLICA-THRASH-METAL-kettle Quote

Rich Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I've reported it to fleaBay. This sort of thing really pisses me off. Quote
Kev Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 its funny, i had a listing pulled for once for 'keyword spamming' withing hours, and it wasnt even spamming (my boss bassman pedal, i entitled it Boss Fender Bassman effects pedal, it was pulled for using Fender and Boss in the same title, despite that being exactly what it was!), but yet they don't do anything about this Quote
yorick Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Just had a look and the ad's been pulled, so didn't get a chance to see it............... Quote

markytbass Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 You didn't miss much, it was an SG shaped guitar with an AC/DC sticker slapped on it. Quote

Honesty and full description/disclosure are obviously not qualities eBay prioritise in listings. Quote
