tiagocunha Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Hi everyone, I want to try some different effects on bass and I was looking through the classifieds in some Facebook groups from my country and currently I have these options: Boss GT10B, Boss ME20B, Boss GT6B and Korg AX3000B. I wanted something more or less cheap but with lots of things to try but I thing I cannot justify the price of the GT10. Has eanyone tryed the Korg? I read some nice reviews but wanted to know something from you guys... Quote

dannybuoy Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 If you want cheap with lots of things to try, the Zoom B1on / B1xon are cheaper than the B3 and have more fx (at the expense of less gig-friendly operation though). And I'm selling a B1xon in the classifieds! Quote
tauzero Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 I have a Korg AX3000B. I don't use it these days as it's been supplanted by a Zoom MS-60B (or a B3). Well built, good effects, but it's one of the many multieffects which has a series of blocks - compressor/limiter, preamp, distortion, modulation, reverb roughly speaking, so it (like most multieffects) lacks the flexibility of the Zoom multi-stompbox approach. It's also got a PC-based patch editor, which is useful. Quote
