Hello all!

Up for sale is my Mesa Boogie 400+ and Matamp 4x10. Both are in good condition and have been cared for.

The head needs no introduction. It's magnificent. I picked it up off Tayste_2000 around 5-6 years ago. Sounds huge and sings when it's being pushed. Easily the best amp I've owned and has given me wonderful tones both in the studio and live. It's currently in a custom made Matamp enclosure that matches the cab, however it could be taken out pretty easily .

The Matamp was bought new from Matamp and is a sealed 4x10. It has the standard celestion speaker set up with 1200w (I think) power handling at 8ohms. The input is a single speakon connector. Also has a removable grille for recording. It's a meaty and punchy sounding cab, and can find a tonal space between two blackstar stacks going full pelt, so I think it's fair to say it cuts nicely! Phenomenal how much air this thing moves. Really nice mids and low end however it doesn't get muddy.

This rig has served me wonderfully on multiple tours, in the studio and in countless shows. It's a fantastic pairing. Unfortunately however, life is moving on - I'll be qualifying as a Doctor in a few months so my days of touring are realistically over, and this is too big a rig for the occasional little pub jam or show. In addition, my partner is currently in the protracted process of being allowed back into the country and flights to and from Ecuador to see her don't come cheap .

I'd prefer to sell these together (plus they match!), however I will split if necessary (£750 head, £350 cab). Will also throw in my jack to speakon cables too. The rig is currently living in Abingdon (near Oxford), however I go to and from Plymouth quite a lot so I could do a meet on the M4/M5 corridor or London. Welcome to try before you buy .
