How big is/are your band(s)?

How many are there in your band? Or bands, if you're in more than one? You can make as many choices as you need.
There are 13/14 of us in the Destroyers, and I also have a 5-piece side project.

I've almost always been in three piece bands - there's just something about the chemistry you get. Plus, it's easier to organise rehearsals.

The last few bands I've been in have all been 6 piece affairs. It helps cover your screw-ups, and you stand a better chance in a fight.
I picked up some nasty injuries whilst working as a trio.

We have 5 at the moment. I've only ever been in 3 pieces really before this one but I think I prefer it - although it's quite tricky at times with the Keys and bass occupying the same sort of frequency range - I think I might just chop his left hand off - that should solve the problem.

Usually a 9 piece but on rare occasions anything between 5 and 12 depending on client request. Brass can go up to a 4 piece plus extra singers, percussion, maybe even dancers.

This pic shows almost everyone ... I'm there on Baritone sax, there's a few brass and saxes (including a bass sax) beyond the end of the picture ...
