DanEly Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 So I've been lusting after a Mocha brown/walnut precision since I first caught wind of them. Question is, who/what company can I speak to about getting a body finished in this livery? Quote
Manton Customs Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 You may be able find someone closer to you, but if not feel free to send me a PM or email . Here's a couple I've finished recently as examples. 8 string true temperament Matriarch guitar: Echo MKII Tele inspired guitar: Quote
EssentialTension Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015

I like the colour. Quote
KK Jale Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 I'm a fan of mocha too. Off topic, but very brown-based... did you ever hear of the lapsteel-style walnut colour discovered on one '56 Tele not so long ago? http://www.indoorstorm.com/56tele.html Gorgeous... Quote
Cotswoldbassguitars Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Fender refer to the colour as Walnut - paint code 522 in the early '70's catalogues. Jon Shuker (Shuker Basses) finished a bass for a customer of his in this colour a little while back, so it might be worth you getting in touch with him. Quote
