jimbobothy
Hey folks, My Streamliner 900 has now displayed the common fault of the internal LEDs going on the blink. I emailed the shop I bought it from and they said as Fender have discontinued them (I did know this) that they could not help out. Does anyone know where to go about getting replacement please? Cheers.
mrtcat
Hey Jim, if you have a Talkbass account you can message Agedhorse (andy) and he'll be able to help you out if you ask nicely. He's sent me two sets now (the latest set are on their way as we speak). Don't throw the old ones away as it'll only be one that is faulty so if you keep them you'll have two spares. IanA
When I spoke to him he put me in touch with the Fender Uk service centre, give them a call they are really helpful guys! They had my amp back to me within the week.
Muzz
Yep, Andy sent me a set of LEDs recently - they (the originals) were all blown, and there was a dry joint in a related resistor: he sent me a circuit diagram which helped diagnose this, too. Top chap. Edited November 25, 2015 by Muzz
amnesia
The LED's I had sent to me from the Fender Warranty folk were from RS - part of the label was still on the bag. They are also a different shade of blue to the originals.
