I have for sale my beloved Warwick SS2 with 5 strings, oil finish. Made here in Germany... high quality. ☺
Bass is made in 1996 and has wenge neck and ebony fingerboard.Looks like new and plays just beautiful with low action.
One of the best basses I ever played.
I am selling this bass because I want buy something else.
Bass is coming with a leather strap and gold dunlop straplok. Also with a case.
PM for more detailes... do not know why I cannot put some more photos even in low resolution....

Trades only with Ken Smith NT 5 or 6 strings plus cash from me.

Looks wenge because of light... is Ebony! ☺
Warwick used ebony for fingerboard!

This will have to be a custom order, as wenge was the standard for SSII fretted basses, unless this was originally a fretless :)

Close up picture would quickly reassure buyers :)

I took another look at bass so:

Fingerboard: Ebony 😉

P.S. I bought this bass personally from USA about 5 years ago and cannot contact the previous seller to find out the exact history of bass.

Do not know why cannot post more pics but those are interested in bass can recive more photos in e-mails.

I owned a Thumb 5 (2006) with Ebony fingerboard (fretted). It wasn't a custom shop, though.

Ebony is standard on Thumb basses, not SSII's :)

Wouldn't the standard SS2 have ying yang inlays too? Guessing this is a custom.

Ha, I didn't even notice that glaringly obvious fact! ;)

There is no chance it was originally a fretless? Side fret markers in correct place for fretted?

They are between frets... like any other normal bass.

I previously asked if it maybe used to be a fretless, hence the ebony board and lack of inlays. I didn't get an answer so I thought I would check another way :)

Its a cool custom order bass :)
