Plenty bass player can play this genre as its what a lot of us like, but not many full bands can support it, pull it off or provide a bass player with the correct platform quite so well, some excellent musicianship in the mingle....

It's worth noting the compressor these guys developed with Good Hz So I've added a link to the vulfpeck compressor drum demos. Man that comp does make things get funky!!!

I'd say it plays a part in the bass tone which perfectly compliments Joes playing. You can also hear Joes playing on the more restrained trad stuff with The Olllam

I've been avoiding checking them out because their name irritates me beyond measure (I'm quite childish that way).

Just checked them out, and damn, they are good. Joe Dart is tremendous.
