Ampeg repairs

Hi folks, can anyone tell me who officially deals with Ampeg these days? Got brought a BL300115 combo to repair but the power supply is smps and all the construction is surface mount and lead free solder. So pretty much unfixable.

Appears they only deal with warranties. But they did give me the number of Surrey Amps. Anyone had any experience of these guys?

I had an ampeg repaired by them so I think they can get parts from the states

Their website is either http://www.surreyamps.co.uk/ or [url="http://www.amphospital.co.uk/"]http://www.amphospital.co.uk/[/url] - both of which seem to be Surrey Amps. No experience of them at all sorry but the site reads like they know what they're on about!! YMMV!

I had a mackie PA speaker repaired there - I dropped it off and they have a decent workshop and seem to know what they're talking about - the speaker has been fine since (over a year of gigging).

Not particularly cheap but I would use them again.
