Guest MoJo Posted December 11, 2015 Share Posted December 11, 2015 (edited) I'm contemplating swapping out the original pickups in my Peavey Zephyr C4 for EMG40TX's. The EMG's can be used in either single coil or dual coil mode through the use of a switch. My question is, would a soloed EMG40TX in single coil mode pick up interference from lighting circuits etc the way passive pickups do?
