Yamaha BB414 Dorset bargain

Once more a tempting bargain has popped up at the other end of the country. Swanage is a 3 1/2 hour drive each way for me. Probably a broken selector switch. I've changed more than one on a BB414 before. A Switchcraft replacement is less than a tenner on ebay and will last almost indefinitely

It's a shame this is in faraway lands, I've been looking to get one of these to use the pickups for a project bass.

bit strange that it was 'sold' and returned (presumably) on 'bay couple of weeks back ?

Perhaps the switch got broken in transit and the bass was returned. The original switches are held together by flimsy plastic clips which give up very easily if any downward pressure is put on the switch tip
