Bassman Sam
The feel is so loose, they could have fallen over. It just works so well though. Love this band.

ead
One of the great bands, much forgotten about sadly. At least two of them are no longer with us now.
leftybassman392
They were the first big league band I ever went to see; Folkestone Lees Cliffe Hall, 1970 IIRC. I would have been 16 or 17. Still one of the best gigs I ever attended. Pual Kossoff was one of my early guitar heroes, and the solo to 'Alright Now' was one of the first I ever learned (extended album version, natch...), along with Albatross as I recall. Great memories; thanks for posting.

wateroftyne
Great band. A few years ago, my band was gigging at a small but cool hotel/pub/venue up Perth way. I got chatting to a hotel resident in the bar afterwards who'd been to the gig, and asked him how long he was staying for. He said was a musician, and he was playing at the venue the following night. I looked over his shoulder and saw his face on a poster advertising the following night's artist... Simon Kirke. Once I'd recovered, we had a lovely chat. Nice bloke.
