Greg.Bassman
Hi all. One thing that still eludes me about Johns board, is his Line 6 M9. I've noticed his extensive use of the unit; anybody know what he is using it for exactly? I imagine reverb/delays are a standard, is there anything else? (reference to existing NERVE tracks would be helpful). Cheers. Greg.
tonyf
I've got an M9 on my board. Use mine for the modulations, EQ's and pitch shifting mainly, but the tuner and mute comes in real handy. There's a whole lot of other stuff in there (the delays/reverbs, the envelopes and looping etc) that I just don't need for my gig. It's a great piece of kit. True bypass, sounds fantastic and really easy to use.
Greg.Bassman
Hi tonyf. Thanks for the insight mate, I'm already aware of what the unit offers though, what I was wondering is how John utilizes it. Thumbs up for the feedback regardless. Cheers. pantherairsoft
Covers his modulation and reverb mainly. He rarely uses delay / not a fan by his own admission. I'm sure it gets uses for the odd synth sound, and basically anything else his core pedal range doesn't provide. He seems to use it as a textual tool.
