NPD thought I'd get myself a couple of Xmas presents...

Evening all,

So today whilst at work my parcel from GAK arrived. For a while I've been considering treating myself to a new pedal as an Xmas treat and this weekend has been full of umming and ahhing. Finally I made up my mind and placed an order online with GAK for a DOD Meatbox...and a Mooer Pitch box (why not, it's Christmas). Ahhhhh, then it was time to sit back and relax. Though, do I really want the pitch box, I've never tried one before. That said, I've not tried the Meatbox either. It'll be ok, I'm sure I'll love both. Hmmmmm, not sure now. How about ringing GAK before they're despatched and asking the guys there.

Usually in day to day life I don't have little moments of doubt like that, but this time I'm glad I did. Having called GAK and speaking to a very helpful (and cheerful) "Jim" I may have altered the order. The order was sent yesterday and I had been counting down the hours until getting home from work where I found these...

So far I've only had about an hour to have a play around, but both are awesome pedals. The Meatbox had the least play time as most of my belongings started rattling and shaking. That'll be saved and trialled through headphones. The Harmonist has been trialled the most so far and I can see it taking a while to get used to. It's a great pedal, but it's going to take some time learning all the things it can do. On the plus side, I've some time off to try them both. Try them both and start a game of pedalboard Tetris. If I can't get them all on one board, I'll get the small Mooer board I have out and have two separate boards.
