Ashdown ABM Neo Cabs, opinions anyone?

I recently saw them in my local shop, unfortunately user the big pile of other gear so no chance to test them without serious reasons.

These are the newer models, the same as you can find on Ashdown webpage - small and black, not the "classic Neo" version.

I'm using Ampeg PF cabs, but since I got the Little Bastard with VS112 cab and I'm very satisfied with the sound - my Ampegs are semi retired since last Christmas. I can't get VS212 anywhere so I'm thinking about getting the cabs from my local shop, they have 115 and 210.

Anyone tried them? Any opinions?

Is the 2x10 capable of being use as standalone cab? I know Ashdown amps and cabs have usually a very decend low-end, but I never could any decent punch on stage to hear myself without mudding everything up with low mids of my PF-210 cab.

The 1 x15 I think is 350 w , I've gigged with one 2 x10 several times 500w RMS & it worked fine (both ported ), I used two to get the height for monitoring .Like I said before the reason I use the barefaced 12T is that it does the same job that both the Ashdown cabs do but half the weight , The Ashdowns are not heavy at 44lbs each but when you a bad back it makes a difference .

I've got the newer ABM NEO 210 cab, which is sealed and rated at 1000W and I have to say that it is a truly fantastic sounding cab. Very loud and just a fantastic tone.

I was previously gigging with an ABM 610 cab and I think I can say that it blows it out of the water both in terms of tone and volume. I would recommend these cabs to anybody looking for great tone and great maneuverability. They are great lightweight cabs that have definitely not compromised on tone or volume.
