What's this bass?

Can anyone identify this bass for me please - the one in this clip:

It seems to be a toothsome morsel, but I can't find anyone who can identify the make or model. Someone who knows the Japanese scene slightly told me it might be a local bespoke make unknown outside of Japan.

It's not easy to make out the heastock logo, bu the headstock itself is a distinctive shape and the logo seems to be something like Boyse

I've seen the headstock shape before so I had a quick sniff through the u-box to see if they had one, thought it might be a Bossa. While there, I found the greatest brand name ever. Up yours, Fender, I want one of these.






I realise this doesn't help in the slightest. You could try searches on some of the Japanese retail sites, sort by highest price first.

There are a few videos of her out there but nothing I could find showed the headstock up close

There is a company called 'Boyce' who make guitars and basses. They have a Facebook page. It might be one of their basses.

I just saw this on eBay and wondered if it might be the same maker. Not the same model, obviously.
