Ordered a cali76 tx

Dropped a fair wedge of cash on a cali76 tx last night to complement my pbass/matamp gt200 setup.

Looking forward to having a twiddle.

Agreed. Well expensive, but I desperately need a nice comp for my new band so decided to take the plunge.

Just got one, had the standard for some time then the compact bass, both awesome but the TX really is rather special, enjoy!

I got mine in a trade on here so i didnt have to wait thankfully.

However when i was looking at a new one the Origin website suggested a 5 or 6 week wait time on the TX, i didnt email to check or anything as i know Red Dog Music had some in stock last time i looked so was going to order there to avoid the wait time.

Cheers. I have emailed Simon to see what the score is. Was hoping to use the cali at a studio date I've got coming up in the next few weeks.

Evens out my sound super naturally...

It's a keeper. Worth the cash. High gain mode @ 18v is ace.

I use a Cali76 in my country guitar pedalboard, and it just makes everything sound better. Also had good results using it to record bass, as it unobtrusively levels out the peaks that can easily run into unwanted distortion.

It's got a real smooth action hasn't it. Pulling 16db out of my peaks and you wouldn't be able to tell.

Really holds you unobtrusively in the mix as well no matter what your eq. With my pbass and the tone all the way down it's still clear as day with a nice layer of warmth.

Good job on the vids, I seemed to notice the CB to have a bigger bottom than the other, is this because you were using the HPF ?

maybe a hint, i think thats the HPF yes, ill focus on that alot more in the longer video, and ill also show how it works before a few drives etc
