Billy Apple Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Not here. I heard it was starting off on the hour in Hollywood. Maybe this is a half hour buffer? Quote
Maude Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Not 100% sure I want to. I want to remember Lemmy the way I remember him now and I'm a little worried this'll taint it. I'll see how it goes Quote
Thunderbird Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 I think Youtubes stream has crashed according to some of the comments on the page Quote

Really want to watch this to tip my hat to the big feller Quote

basexperience Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 Lemmy's memorial service is streaming: this will be quite something. Quote
Billy Apple Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Who the hell are these three Mexicans? Classic Quote

Delberthot Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) I still keep expecting Lem to say something. He was such a big part of my life I remember depping with a wedding band and the main man told me that I played just like a rock bass player. Being a funk player I was disdturbed. I tried to Play Kiled By Death the entire night Edited January 10, 2016 by Delberthot Quote
ubit Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 We watched it and found it to be very moving. Some beautiful eulogies from some very well spoken people. There were some laughs as his friends remembered the funnier moments, but some real lump in the throat moments too. All in all, a very fitting send off for a real legend. Just a pity that the sound went just at Dave Grohls eulogy. Quote

NickD Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 It was all pretty touching. Regretted watching slightly when the kids jumped on me after 4 hours sleep though! Quote
White Cloud Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Phil Campbell "couldn't make it"...seriously? WTF Quote

basexperience Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 http://news.sky.com/story/1619890/motorhead-fans-watch-lemmys-funeral-online Apparently 230,000 were watching on YouTube. That's a hell of an audience, Lemmy. Quote

WTF [/quote] A little harsh don't you think? I'm not sure if you were aware, but Lemmy's ashes were in the urn center stage. This was post funeral of which I'm sure Phil attended. He is most likely crippled with grief. Edited January 10, 2016 by Billy Apple Quote
