A long time since I played a gig that needed gloves due to the cold. Thankfully :) Just need Stephen Chown or Scott Whitley to commission something similar at a more accessible price point.

I've just put one up for sale. I love it but I only use it very rarely to record my own songs, and I really need the cash for some synth kit. (I would consider swapping for some juicy eurorack bits) I know I'll miss it but I my lust for eurorack is too powerful!

Okay it's a Takamine, but as a fretless f hole electro acoustic bass, is it any better than the Aria Elecord?

The B10/TB10 is unlike an Elecord because it has a very different tail piece and bridge and, most important, it has an arched top and has a curved fingerboard rather like a double bass.

I'd say that the Elecord is just another acoustic bass guitar. The B10/TB10 is more like a miniature strap it on double bass, both in feel and sound, and less like a bass guitar.
