goonieman
Hi all, I got a classic vibe 60s today and its great! - however, the truss rod nut is on the TURN (pun intended - or not?!). I'd like a new one - but do I get a 3/16 or 5mm? close enough? (i'm worried about the thread more than anything). This stuff takes ages to sniff out on the global inter-web world-space. Anyone got experience?
Chienmortbb
As a general rule if it is made in the USA it is imperial if it is made in the far east it is metric. If I had to choose just one I would go 5mm on a sqeiar.

ikay
If you're after a replacement nut (rather than the hex wrench) then guitarpartsresource list them here - http://www.guitarpartsresource.com/hardware_trussnuts.htm. They say 4mm which I assume means the internal threaded bit rather than the adjuster end. A 5mm hex wrench is an exact fit for my Squier Matt Freeman (which is pretty much exactly the same as a CV).
