Here is mine for this month. Struggling to find time at the moment.

I enjoyed that. I can't quite place my finger on it but it reminded me of the theme tune to an 80s sitcom. The sitcom was British at it was on Sunday nights I think. Great work.

No idea. Just coincidence. It was simply a thing that came into my head when I thought about it. Actually, it's about a minute longer than it's content. Should have edited it down or changed the theme. I am not going back to it now. Publish and be damned!!!

Some frustration today , Reaper wouldn't find my VSTs , it took an hour to sort it and subsequently had drained my ideas, optimism and talent in the process.

And now SWMBO has to depart to Crete to nurse her brother who is quite ill and support sister in law who is struggling a bit , so the picture now is looking a bit different to me.

A rethink might be in order , I think I would like to write something that reflects the current problem , but I doubt I could do it justice , so I am in 2 minds

I re-did mine and cut out all the superfluous fat. It is now a lot shorter but better for it. I put the new link in my previous post in order to avoid confusion later on!!

Much better. Sounds nothing like Rumpole. Great work.

I would like to apologise now for the behaviour I have detailed below!
And sniggering is allowed, nay, encouraged...

Guess why it's called Eruption?

Not a Ken Nordine fan?
Or perhaps you are and this is removing the micturition from the great man?
Or, and this would be most bizarre, you've been listening to my old band's My Space page and have discovered the song "Curtains" which has the chorus "I hate the colour"? Freaky, man!

Good evening, all...

I've not been up for much of late, but have managed to do this ...

Hoping it meets with some approbation; back when I can.

This one I did last month but would have fit well in the 'Journey of the Butterflies' for this month eh, the rules say the tune must be from this month tho

ok, so here it is. i wrote a tune for last month but didnt have the stones to actually post it as i was not happy with some things. in all honesty there are a lot of things i would like to redo on this one, i know there are a few mistakes in there and its a bit muddy, but i am trying to suss out getting better recordings from what i have. hell its recorded with pretty shabby gear, a foul mood and at the end of the day its just 3mins of nothing in particular, but perhaps if i get one out then i will be more inclined to do more on the next one. the one for last month was better in my opinion, if i could have gotten it right. however the pictures this month threw me a bit, didnt have a clue what to do with the butterfly one, so i stuck with the rain thing.

Well done on biting the bullet and posting your song. I did my first one last month and although I wasn't really happy with it but I'm glad I did posted it and put it out there.

My song this week is a simple song about being stuck in on a rainy day. Sorry for the lyrics (which are VERY lighthearted in nature) and singing (which I've covered in effects to try and disguise my innate inability to sing).

Not really my normal style - but thought I'd try something different.

That was almost genius. If you polished it up a bit that could go straight into the charts. I really enjoyed it. Well done.

I won't be officially entering this month.....but if I hadn't already started this tune months ago, this is the sort of thing I would have done!.... also, as some one who shall remain nameless now has my old monitors, I cant do any proper mixing currently.

This is just a demo version and I also renamed it.

Thanks! I'm just glad someone, somewhere actually liked it! :-)

I look forward to hearing what you come up with - I enjoyed your entry last month.

"hate to say it..." Probably needs a little polishing, but there's surely a good song lyric in there, somewhere..? Hmm...

It's a bit early for that kind of defeatist attitude.
