Not long had this bass, but I have another bass in mind I am after.

Amazing sound from this thing, packs a punch! The neck is especially good, slim precision neck that plays fast . . Lovely!

No that's the right hand. You need a glove on the [i]left[/i] hand for the Special Scott Devine Sound(TM).

I've had one and a fair few jazzes and it's not a jazz neck as such, more of an in between width but slimmed down front to back. Nearly as nice as a jazz but with a little bit more girth.

It'll be a 70's Fender 'A' neck which fits that description. :) Spot on!

Apparently, that neck profile was only used briefly in 1971 before it was discontinued. I have a Nate Mendel and I love the profile.
