Sold Stingray, black, maple, gold. £700

I really do need to own less guitars/basses, it's getting silly!
This is the 2002 stingray that I turned into a 'Geddy Ray'

I had the hardware professionally plated gold (expensive!) and resprayed the headstock black with a gold logo. The lightly sanded neck is smooth as silk and it plays fantastically well; and sounds, like a two band stingray !

Out of the many stingrays I've owned, this is the most versatile sounding in a way I can't put my finger on. It's also the most forgiving to play and the neck doesn't feel so massive as some.

The bass is far from mint, there are signs of use all over, especially on the back, which has scratches. There is a chunk of finish that popped off and had to be reattached by the neck join. (I've had that on Ray's a few times?!!)

Basically, despite the fact that it looks a bit 'bling' it's very much a workhorse gig weapon, a very much players bass.
Set up well with fresh strings, polished frets and nourished neck.

The neck inlay blocks are removable!

I'm not after trades, but could be tempted with certain basses! (not black and four strings only!)
My tastes are limited however. I mainly like jazz's, 'coffee table' stuff, status, Warwicks.

I'm in Cheltenham and would much prefer collection, as shipping could be expensive and risky and awkward to arrange. I'm afraid I would charge full shipping costs.
