Norris
I saw them at Leicester Poly way back when. Pretty good live as well. Ade had a great pair of lungs on him and could play a mean guitar too. I found the ticket a couple of months ago

lojo
More Bad News, best comic strip ever , closely followed by Mr Jolly. Are we metal ?
visog
Hmmm... it's not that good I'm afraid... Hasn't aged well but by contrast ST has matured nicely... Wry, subtle and clever. Horses for course I guess but the Wogan thing was just embarrassing. I think for me, Ade Edmonson hasn't ever been funny outside of the Young Ones. I think Eddie hitter is a better character than Vivian!
dudewheresmybass
I used to be borderline obsessed with bad news. Well written, and really funny. The thing to remember is that bad news came before spinal tap (another fundamentally superb observational piece!) Bottom, for me, is the quintessential physical comedy show, and is the logical conclusion of the ideas put in motion in the young ones. I love Rik and Ade's comedy, so regularly enjoy these and more Edited January 3, 2016 by dudewheresmybass

dave_bass5
I saw them at the Marquee when it was in Charing Cross road. Great gig for all the wrong reasons. IIR the moment Rik came out he got a (plastic) pint glass right in the face. Even Brian May made an appearance.
dudewheresmybass
Maybe we should plug the guitars in and play them?
