lowregisterhead Posted January 5, 2016 Share Posted January 5, 2016 (edited) As part of my usual New Year rationalisation of my little collection, here's a bit of a 'Marmite' bass, I suspect... 1999 Stingray 5, in a very fetching pearlescent purple with a mirror pickguard. I bought it from chaypup last year, and it's lovely, but the older I get, the less biddable my gorilla mitts are it seems, and the 17.5mm string spacing is becoming a bit of a struggle. In good overall condition - there's a couple of minor marks on the front, a little bit of buckle rash on the back, and 2 small dents in the tip of the headstock. It plays beautifully, and sounds big and fat. The neck and frets have no issues and everything works as it should. The colour may not be to everyone's taste, so coupled with my wife's exasperation at the dwindling space in the spare room, it's priced to sell.
