Bad Ass 5 question

Hi...

just bought a MIM 5 string Jazz, and was looking at putting a bad ass on it. I read the sticky about badass', but have one more question. The bridge on my bass has a 3 screw at the back, 2 at the front arrangement, whereas the badass 5 seems to have a 6 at the back arrangement. Has the layout changed recently, and can i fit a badass to mine without drilling extra holes?

Or is a different bridge i.e. schaller the only option?

The hole placement on the Badass V is very different to the bridge layout on a MIM jazz V. I had to get mine fitted professionally.

The holes do line up properly with a US Deluxe jazz, but you cannot string through body. I don;t think a Schaller is a straight fit eiher.
