jammys
Do your neighbours complain about the noise levels when or if you practise at home?

Luulox
No need for them to hear me now amps with headphone sockets and audio interfaces are so cheap.

Cato
Bass. B1on. Headphones. I doubt my neighbour even knows I play bass.

toneknob
Nope, I practice using a Roland Micro Cube so it's no louder than a normal stereo. Plus the walls here are very thick (it's a 1930s apartment block)
TheGreek
My current neighbours are OK about me playing but, TBH, when I practice I don't turn it up too loud. One of my neighbours in my first flat was a sound engineer at British Aerospace and a former Sax player who tried to insist that I fill my bass bins with sound proofing and stand them on a blanket filled bread basket. Wasn't going to happen. He threatened to complain to the local council but after he'd complained about an electric fan being left on overnight by the local dentists downstairs they stopped taking him seriously. Consideration from both parties goes a long way.
