mrbassman_de Posted April 1, 2016 Author Posted April 1, 2016 Price increased for GBP buyers. GBP2EUR rate has lost 12% against the rate 2 months ago.
mgauction Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Man, what I would do for this! Too bad trade isn't an option
mrbassman_de Posted April 14, 2016 Author Posted April 14, 2016 Trade is an option - sure. But trading overseas is VERY expensive. Shipping is about 500 USD each and import to EU would add 22.75% of the value of the imported bass here in EU. That's why I hesitate to do overseas trades. Anyway - feel free to make offers. I am interested in Other Foderas (33" and 34") Ken Smith Elites Alleva Coppolos Fenders <1966
mgauction Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 I have had basses sucessfully sent to the the UK/Europe for far, far less and received in fine condition. No idea where you got your shipping estimate from, probably the most I have ever seen by leaps. It's possible I could have an instrument taken to europe and shipped from there.
mrbassman_de Posted April 17, 2016 Author Posted April 17, 2016 I am open for any new ideas about overseas shipping. I have my shipping quotes from Fedex and UPS. Of course you can get lower quotes from USPS but they do not insure at that value. PM me your zip/city and I can look for an exact quote and we go from there.
molan Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 (edited) If only the £ weren't so weak against the € at the moment Edited May 3, 2016 by molan
molan Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 It's still here and June 23 is only a month away - if the UK votes 'stay' then Sterling will improve massively and this might move closer to being available to me
mrbassman_de Posted June 7, 2016 Author Posted June 7, 2016 I press my thumbs ! I would be happy to see it in your hands, Barrie, and you both staying within EU
mrbassman_de Posted June 27, 2016 Author Posted June 27, 2016 Up again. Trade or cash offers welcome.
three Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Such a beautiful bass. However, and without becoming too Lacanian, I suspect that recent events in the UK have implied even greater distance between desire and fulfilment - certainly the case for me
