JensWest
Hi! I'd like to (or have to) replace my blend pot. on my jazz bass with a mini switch so that it'll give me neck-both(parallel)-bridge. So, can someone please help me by telling me which switch I'll need and how to wire it? I've tried to read up on it and I've found a few different solutions, but I can't tell which one's right. Thanks.
hubrad
You'll be needing either a single pole or double pole, ON-ON-ON type. Alternatively go bigger and just fit a pickup selector switch in a slightly enlarged hole. This kind, probably available far more chaply locally! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-On-On-On-DPDT-Round-Bat-Mini-Switch-BLACK-CHROME-/360866610681?hash=item5405537df9:g:xT8AAOSwnDZUIXu6

iiipopes
Is the bass active or passive? If it is passive, and you are removing the blend pot, why not consider wiring the bass in the conventional V-V-T?

[/quote] I'm about to install a preamp, so the pot's will be vol., treb. and bass and a switch for pickup selection.
