Here is my lovely old Gibson EB2 which according to the serial number and hardware was manufactured between 1966-69. The witches hat knobs and style of bridge would point to a later 60's EB2 I reckon.
The bass is in superb cosmetic condition for its age having been kept in its (included and original) case for much of its life. I doubt you'll see another in this kind of condition! The truss rod works as it ought to and there is very little fret wear, neck is nice and slim and action is low.
It's a short scale bass so easy to play and it balances well. Electrics work properly including the baritone switch which tames the massive mudbucker to a more manageable output. Great vintage tone and looks. The original adjustable mute and bridge cover are present as is the scratchplate.
The neck is slim - similar to a jazz.
