busccini Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 (edited) hi, here is my new bass coming togheter at the moment. specs: body wood : pear neck: hard maple one piece(22 frets) fretboard: brazilian rosewood pickups: lindy fralin vintage electronic: mike pope 3band with pasive blend tuners : hipshot lollipops bridge :hipshot (forgot the model) finish: nitro vintage white scale: 34,5 inches weight: maybe 4,8 kilo? About kristall : is a samll company from germany , they got amazing pieces of wood and the basses are really well made evry bass i try sound great , the basses are kind of simple, could someone say but the basses got evrything what a bass need to sound great . evry wood piece of his basses are dry it in natural way , like a i said before they got asowme wood on stock , for example on my bass the body (pear) is like over 30 years ,and the rosewood is maybe 60 years old (and you get the certificate). thanks for reading now pictures Edited February 28, 2016 by busccini Quote

Is pear dense? 4.5kg seems medium / heavy for a fiver - especially with an elegant body like that (not a t-40 style slab).
