JJW Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 There is more inlay on the neck than wood. Definitely not my cup of tea. Cameronj279 Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 If it wasn't for the fretboard inlay I would say it's the only Les Paul that I would describe as "pretty". Quote
Luulox Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Rather ambitious pricing or is it just me? Quote
leschirons Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 The really funny thing about this is that the seller states that Justin Hawkins has apparently been added to the top 100 all time great guitarists Quote
carlsim Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 the best thing is the confirmation or whether it is 'Darkness owned' or not looks like it was knocked up on a word document! Quote
PlungerModerno Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016
the best thing is the confirmation or whether it is 'Darkness owned' or not looks like it was knocked up on a word document!
I'd say it's just an email from the gibson custom shop sales/support crew. The guitar is ridiculous - perfect as a gag instrument or for an act like the darkness (who's costume & act were/are over the top if I'm not mistaken). As an actual guitar it looks lame, and given it's an LP style guitar I am OK with the shape but hate the feel and weight. Worth maybe 1/4 of the asking price if it was played by the musician in question. worth 1/10th if it's just a rare gibson. To someone else it could be worth a lot more! Quote
