ras52
I didn't see this one coming: http://petergabriel.com/news/peter-and-sting-tour-2016/
wateroftyne
It's an odd one. PG's band are pretty unconventional, so I assume they'll be taking two bands out with them. But then, I'd like to hear PG with Sting's band behind him. That would be pretty cool.
discreet
It's too weird and I don't believe it.

CamdenRob
Didn't he do something similar with Paul Simon last year? My folks went to the O2 gig and thought it was excellent.

ambient
Peter Gabriel is great. I don't like Sting though. I was hoping for a new Gabriel studio album. They've been recording it for years.
hubrad
Well, obviously neither of them needs to do it for reasons of finance or exposure, so they must think it works. Probably a brilliant vibe onstage! :-)

toneknob
I love PG (and Sting to a lesser extent when he's not faffing around with lutes ffs) but for heavens sake do some new material Pete.

ahpook
Peter Gabriel is great. I don't like Sting though. ras52
Watch the video. It's both of them, then one of them, then both again, then something else I forget.
That's better than when I saw Ethel (the string quartet), Joe Jackson and Todd Rundgren: they each played a solo set (that's Joe completely solo and Todd completely solo) then all got on stage together for just two or three numbers. What'll be interesting here is the possibility of Gabriel-flavoured performances of Sting songs and vice versa.
spectoremg
Is it one of those eighties revival tours? Where's Tony Hadley and Boy George?

sblueplanet
Expect to pay through the roof for the privilage of seeing two big Artists together. The Sting/Simon tour tickets in UK were around the £100 mark. No thanks.
ambient
I'd rather wait and hopefully see Gabriel on his own. I've seen him on DVD and his shows are amazing, String is always rather pretentious.

RhysP
If they'd done this in the 80s or 90s I would have gone. Neither of them has done anything remotely interesting (IMO) for donkeys years so I won't be bothering.
