funkle Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Hey all Finally got around to one of my New Years resolutions and started uploading some content to YouTube. I've done a bass cover of 'Never Too Much' by Luther Vandross. I'd appreciate anyone happy enough to head over and give me a little feedback. Thanks muchly. https://youtu.be/K8bir0rkH_w (Remember to pick 1080p for best quality...) Pete Quote
AndyTravis Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 I like it, debating offering this up to the band as I love playing it. The Celinder nails the sound too - did that one belong to LozBass of this parish at some point? Think I did a restring and set up on it a good few years ago; lovely bass. Quote
funkle Posted January 19, 2016 Author Posted January 19, 2016 Thanks mate. The Celinder I picked up from Bass Gear a few years back; I think it was Barrie's at some point? Great recording bass, anyway. A keeper. Quote

[/quote] It may or may not be the same one, I know there aren't many knocking about. I seem to recall Loz's had crazy Birdseye maple all over the neck...but I've played 5 or 6 celinders like that 😂 Quote
funkle Posted January 20, 2016 Author Posted January 20, 2016 It might well be the same then. This bass has rather a lot of Birdseye figuring...great bass. Quote
