Graham Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 We don't have a single drummer in our band, it's myself, the singer, guitarist and then a small pool of three or four drummmers who we call upon depending on who's available. Last night we rehearsed with one of the band's former drummers from few years ago, also he and I have been in bands together in the past. Wow. I'd forgotten how much I like playing with him, almost immediately we slipped into a groove and were playing off each other, it was like he'd never been gone. He's got one show with us at the end of the month, but hopefully we'll be able to get him on a lot more this year, so long as his work commitments (he's a train driver) don't clash. It's amazing how happy a drummer can make a bassist Quote
Number6 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Our drummer (my brother) is a train driver too.....hope you haven't nicked him Quote
TimR Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 I know a drummer who is a London underground train driver. I wonder if it's an occupation that attracts a certain type of person. Quote
Graham Posted January 20, 2016 Author Posted January 20, 2016 Hopefully their timing is better when drumming than when train driving Quote
