Clarky
Hey Toasted I can't check the link so I can't tell ifit it's a is mistype, or sarcasm involved, (as if!) but there's no such beast as a 77 Fullerton RI...
Think it was just a typo by Toasted. Link shows a mojo'ed, slightly modded 1977 Fullerton P in 3TS with m/n. Here is the blurb: "Beautiful Vintage Fender Precision Bass, built at the original Fullerton plant in 1977 You are bidding on a 1977 Fender Precision Bass, complete with SKG Hardcase This is a beautiful instrument, with the unmistakeable tone of a vintage precision bass. Some features you should note: 3-Colour Sunburst Reissue chrome hardware Serial number S755878 The stock pickups were replaced c.1980 with vinateg white DiMarzio pickups, a common replacement. These retain the vintage tone while adding a little mid-range bite to the toneYou will notice a switch between the output socket and tone knob. I originally thought this was an S-1 switching circuit, but appears to be a simple lo-cut switch, somewhere around 100hz it sounds like. Fitted with pro-line straploks and supplied with a Hudson soft leather strap. Original strap buttons to be included. Included in this sale is an SKG hardcase, which retail new at around £100 and come with a lifetime guarantee."

DirkThrust
The listing's ended without the reserve being met and He's relisted it BIN £800 I'm seriously tempted by this. It's not original by a long way so is it worth £800? In the current market I would think that's on the high side. I'd be interested in hearing any opinions. beerdragon
Thats really nice, why is it not original?. apart from the price being a bit low. Edited September 21, 2008 by beerdragon
DirkThrust
The pickups are DiMarzio and he says the chrome hardware is re-issue. Not sure if he just means the covers though. Its also got an extra switch fitted so the electrics could be butchered. It's a beautiful looking bass though. I'm not normally a sucker for old basses but that one's got something that just rattles my cage.
