Davy Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Lovely colour, I'm very tempted but haven't got the funds at the minute. 😢 I can't see this taking long to sell!
Aero71 Posted January 22, 2016 Author Posted January 22, 2016
Do these sound as good as they look?
Oh yeah, she sounds really amazing. With the tone push/pull you'll get a deep scooped sound (push) or a warm and smooth vintage sound (pull).
Davy Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 What is the width of the neck at the nut and how heavy is it?
Yes, there`s a cracking clip of Valery Pellegrini playing one of these on Youtube (number 5 of 6, he`s showing off the whole Schechter range I think), do a search, well worth it, they sound amazing.

ead Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) Sorry I may be missing something here. Is the tone knob controlled 'coil tap' you mention the same as the S1 switch, i.e. pickups in series or parallel or is there something else going on i.e. the p/ups are not single coils? Thanks Just done some googling and I think I have answered my own question. Apparently 4 wires per pickup so looks like some kind of stacked coil arrangement. Edited January 27, 2016 by ead

DavidMcKay Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 I don't usually like Jazz basses, but this looks really nice - perhaps because of the pickups? I'm so used to seeing these as blank/plain black on jazz basses. GLWTS.

Aero71 Posted February 14, 2016 Author Posted February 14, 2016 No one for a great jazz at a bargain price?
silverfoxnik Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 I have a Schecter Diamond P5 that is so good, I very quickly bought it back after foolishly selling it last summer.. Only my opinion of course, but this range of Schecter basses is very underrated! Because of that, I'm not surprised this hasn't sold yet, but when it does, someone's going to be very happy with their purchase. GLWTS
