JapanAxe
'Once you play you'll buy'! Just like 'First to see will buy' in car ads - there can be few greater pleasures than walking away from one of those, preferably shaking your head and grimacing slightly. Seriously, I remember the brand from Guitarist mag, probably early 90s. I have no recollection of how they fared at the time, but at that price you can afford to do what you want with the instrument. RhysP
Very good quality instruments. A total no brainer at that price.
CamdenRob
I remember them doing Warwick copies in the late 90s.... I never played one but they looked almost identical.
Musashimonkey
I had a Vester copy of a Warwick thumb bass, A/B'd with the real thing, and fairly alike, clear differences of course. but a very well playing bass in its own right, despite having lots of damage and play wear, it had held up ok. Generally seem to be good quality basses for the price.
yorick
The earlier Vesters from the 80's and nineties were superb for the money... Quality built and played great. Used to sell them in Exchanges!! Grab it while you can...
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
I have a vester fretless, Warwick thumb copy . Brilliant bass. There is a fretted equivalent on the bay at the moment , and would snap that up if I had the readies . Can't go wrong with vester IMHO,
Bassassin
These are good and that's particularly good for £70. The one caveat (which makes no difference in real terms) is that some of these are ply - and the big black oversprays on the contours of this one does suggest that it probably is ply. 10 minutes with a hairdryer will get all the stickers off. A gyppo like me would do that then Ebay it for £200/best offer... Jon.
Merton
Identical to my first bass, except mine is missing the stickers. Mine is ply like Jon says above. Great bass, sounds incredible through a valve amp (though I upgraded to Schaller pickups in the late 1990s...)
