stonecoldbass
Hey guys, As some of you may know I've started my own teaching website since moving down under called www.basslessonsmelbourne.com with a view to raising my profile as a teacher and ultimately attracting more students. A sidechain of this has been interviewing local players to get their views on a wide array of bass and music related topics in the hope that player watching it can maybe learn from their advice (or mistakes!). Recently I was super lucky to have Janek Gwizdala agree to swing by while he was in town to do and interview and a bit of a performance. He was super easy to hang with, very giving of his time and just so enthusiastic about music and life (and tennis ) I hope you enjoy what I managed to capture. Solo performance: Our Jam The Interview Thanks! ambient
Great, I'm a big fan of Janek's playing. He was a visiting tutor at my uni, I was lucky to get to see him play a few times during masterclasses.
skej21
Great stuff. It's really refreshing to see a bass player like Janek (I'm a big fan!). His positivity, outlook on life, his views on where the music industry is going and his view that you don't HAVE to spend months away touring to be a hardworking musician are a really positive example to set to any other aspiring musician. Such a genuinely nice guy, a great player and a massive breath of fresh air! Edited January 23, 2016 by skej21

BassBus
Will he be selling some of his energy? He never seems to stop. Been a fan for some time now. Love his attitude and playing, great bass tone too.
